On the 13th of January 2018 , we flew from Paris to Bangkok...We stayed  there nearly 2 days before catching a bus to Siem Reap, the gateway to Angkor Wat and the rest of the Angkor ruins. We stayed there 5 days and took another bus to Phnom Penh...2 days in the largest city of Cambodia...Bus to Sihanoukville and boat to Koh Rong island to rest...And bus back to Bangkok....

                We stopped our tuk tuk in front of this house. It seemed lovely to us

                        We are now in Phnom Penh and it's time for us

                                    to put our pollution masks on....

                            Put it on and breath normally !!!

                               The Royal Palace in Phnom Pen . It is a complex of buildings                                             which serves as the royal residence of the king of Cambodia

                               5.30 pm on the banks of the Tonle Sap river.....

                               Nice to rest a bit after a long day in Phnom Penh

                      I remember, when i was in Bangkok in 1975,i was fascinated by them....

                               A bit scared too...Did not dare to take pics or talk with them....

                                      They are so cool.... Tolerant and zen.....

                                 I am still wondering why this young boy is here !!!

Halfway between Phnom Penh and Sihanoukville, the bus stops for 20 minutes...

         Time to go to toilets, to take a coffe, to walk a bit or to buy bananas...

                         Or some delicious biscuits sold in this shop!!!!

                                                   Cambodian poor fishing village 

                                      We are now in Koh Rong island .

                                      About 15 miles from Sihanoukville

                                                        Here is the main village of the island

      Long beach on Koh Rong island... 1 hour walk from the main village. 

      But they begin to build a pier, houses, restaurants and so on...

      In 2 years, this wonderful wild beach  will be overcrowded,  polluted

                                                                   But for now, i enjoy it !

                                                    Back to the main village...

                              It's time to have a drink, a shower and a good restaurant
